Hey ‘merica, I have a fabulous idea.
How about instead of funding unwinnable wars, let’s fund education. Instead of punishing students with high interest rates on loans, lets give them a fair chance.
Did you know non-interventionism and isolationism are actually conservative policies…but the left is now advocating them?
The United States was freaking rich when it was isolationist during the 1800s and early 1900s…mostly because we weren’t pumping billions into foreign wars. We also didn’t have the Federal Reserve, or income tax, etc. (But that’s a different story.) Then we decided to play world police, and everyone has been dragged along with little say.
Tell me, when was the last time a war was fought on US soil? The Civil War, one hundred fifty years ago.* How many wars have we fought since then?
Let’s get back to America and make this country great again. It starts with education and taking care of its people, not invading other countries on a whim.I don’t identify with either major party. But it’s time for something to change.
*Pearl Harbor and the invasion of the Aleutian Islands in Alaska during WWII occurred while they were still territories.
I always thought that Arrested Development’s Tobias Fünke and Community’s Dean Pelton are very similar characters, both insanely funny and extremely oblivious to world. Constantly making homosexual innuendos and showing up in weird costumes for no apparent reason. This tee is my tribute to the two funniest TV characters of all time.
Also I feel like I’ve been in a Tumblr coma

I’m going to meet Neil Gaiman tomorrow. And it hasn’t sunk in quite yet. TOMORROW LOVES, TOMORROW!
I don’t like to make plans with people because a) they are constantly ditching me last minute for stupid reasons, b) boyfriends apparently trump regular friends.
This is the only safe place I have to rant.
Saturday, my friend made me and my sister drive her to a soccer game then made us leave immediately (despite the fact that we wanted tickets to a free concert that they were handing out afterwards) because her bf was leaving for a whole week. One. Week.
And today, same friend is ditching me for a show we’ve been planning on seeing for months because $10 is too much money. Fine, I understand money is tight. But you know what? It’s tight for everyone our age. And then she also said she had to be up early to work—same here, and I’m working 40 hours a week for a job that I’m PAYING to do (and had to take out a loan to do!).
Maybe I’m just a bitchy, horrible person. But I had an old friend that did this to me all the time and it was terrible. Maybe I’ve changed, but j feel like this friend isn’t really the same person I became friends with years ago. :(
/end rant. I’m just extraordinarily irritated and I have no one to talk to about it.
I’m a horrible tumblr-ite, but when bloggers fawn over the ‘coloring’ of a graphic made by their blogger friend, I just sit here and think…yep, looks the same as the original?
I don’t get it.
